# Manage My Bills > Manage My Bills is a New Zealand commercial energy and utility broker. It > reviews what a business currently pays for electricity, gas, fibre, water and > waste, compares commercial rates across the New Zealand market, negotiates on > the business's behalf, and manages the switch from end to end. Commercial > connections only. Manage My Bills is a comparison and brokerage service. It is not an energy retailer, and it is not a lead-capture form that hands back a list of numbers to ring: a person does the comparison and the negotiation, and stays with the account after the switch. A power comparison is run against a site's actual electricity connection, identified by its ICP number, rather than against a postcode. The ICP determines which lines network the site sits on and the price category the connection is rated at, and those two facts decide which commercial rates are genuinely available to it. That is why every entry point on this site asks for an ICP rather than an address. To start, a business owner needs three things: the ICP number (a 15-character code of letters and digits, printed on the power bill), roughly how many kWh the site uses in a month, and roughly what the monthly bill is. No copy of a bill is required for a first estimate, which takes about two minutes; a recent bill is asked for only at the full written-proposal stage. Fees, and any retailer commission, are disclosed and agreed in writing before any switch.
